Pepper Gel And Personal Stun Guns Self Defense
Using pepper gel or a personal stun gun is probably the best bet when it comes to self defense in todays world. There are many other alternatives to personal stun guns and pepper gel, but these are the safer choice.
If you were to purchase a gun yes you have a very powerful self defense weapon but at what cost? When you have a gun and you are being attacked. You have to worry about getting a clear shot and not hitting any innocent bystanders. Not to mention statistics show that there are many times that the owner of the gun was shot by his or her own weapon. Kinda scary huh?
With a personal stun gun or pepper gel you don’t have to worry as much. Yes, there are some cases where people have been killed by a stun gun but the chances of that happening are very slim unless the attacker gets it from you and wants to continuously torcher you with it. Which is unlikely being as the chances are they want to make the attack quick to avoid drawing attention.With a gun if the same situation were to occur your chances of survival are greatly deminished. A personal stun gun can save your life though if you are taught in the proper techniques and you catch the attacker off guard.
Once you have the element of surprise then your worries are over because when a person is zapped by a personal stun gun their muscles are turned to jelly and are immobilized for a short space of time depending on how long you hold the stun gun to them. A short burst of 3 to 5 seconds will disorient the attacker for a couple seconds. A burst of 10 to 15 seconds will leave them unable to move for a good few minutes.What’s more is you don’t have to worry about injuring anyone around you during the attack.
With a can of pepper gel in your pocket or purse you stand at the greater advantage. Pepper gel can come in a small and compact container which will enable you to keep the pepper gel hidden and out of the attackers site. Pretend like you are going for your wallet or money in your purse and quickly spray the attacker in the face.
Now I want to talk directly to you ladies out there. It is an unfortunate but true fact that you make up the majority of victims of violent crime in the US.
Around the world at least I women in 3 has been beaten,
coerced into sex or otherwise abused in her lifetime. Most often

An estimated 91% of victims of rape are female, 9% are male and
99% of offenders are male…”Which in itself makes me sick”
77% of rapes are committed by someone known to the person raped.
According to the National Crime Victimization Survey there were
an estimated 248,000 rapes and sexual assaults against victims over
the age of 12 in the US in 2001.
According to the National Victim Center, 683,000 women are raped
each year.
Now I am not saying that you ladies are helpless and weak. In fact that could not be farther from the truth. I have known several very strong ladies in my time and I personally think you are the greatest gift god could have ever given us men, “aside from free will that is.” What I am trying to say is that taking a self defense course or buying a self defense weapon like pepper gel or a personal stun gun will greatly increase your chances of staying safe.
There is no denying the facts ladies..These stats don’t lie. Infact most of the women I know have been victims of violent crimes. So please… take some self defense courses. Get yourself some pepper gel or a personal stun gun and make those jerks think twice about ever doing this to another woman ever again.
